Panasonic Electric Works Has Been Selected
as Gold Class Sector Leader in SAM's CSR Rating
Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as PEW) has been awarded the SAM Gold Class for the second consecutive year and moreover, this year selected as the sector leader of "Building Materials & Fixtures" sector by SAM (Sustainable Asset Management), one of the world's most highly recognized companies for sustainability investments.
Every year, SAM researches corporate sustainability among approximately 2500 of the world's companies based on economic, environmental and social dimentions, and awards Gold Class, Silver Class and Bronze Class to the outstanding performers with excellent CSR activities.
This year 97 companies out of 392 CSR leaders have been awarded the Gold Class.
In particular, PEW has been highly evaluated in the areas of operational eco-efficiency and corporate citizenship activities in collaboration with local communities.
