Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Guangzhou)

The cumulative production of multilayer printed circuit board materials (hereinafter, multilayer laminates) by Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd reached 20 million square meters in October, the month commemorating the companys 10 th anniversary in operation. Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Guangzhou) is a manufacturing subsidiary of the Electronic Materials Business Unit of Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Panasonic Electric Works) and started manufacturing and sales of multilayer laminates in 1999.

The development of the printed circuit board materials operation by Panasonic Electric Works in China started with the foundation of Panasonic Electric Works (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in 1994 for manufacturing and marketing of paper-phenolic copper-clad laminates against a backdrop of growing demand for printed circuit boards for  home appliances such as TV sets and DVD players.
Further rapid demand increase for multilayer laminates for mobile phones, digital consumer electronics and automotive devices led to start-up of Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. in 1999 and Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in 2006 followed by the enhancement of production capacity in Guangzhou through addition of the second factory in 2008.

Panasonic Electric Works Electronic Materials (Guangzhou) is positioned as one of strategic overseas manufacturing bases of the Electronic Materials Business Unit. The factory provides a wide range of products from versatile materials to environmentally friendly halogen-free materials and high-performance materials such as high heat-resistant multilayer HIPER series products.
The factory also started manufacturing and marketing MEGTRON4, a new product which is suitable for high-volume high-speed transport signal transmission in network communication devices such as servers and routers and supports lead-free soldering.

By quickly understanding local needs and reflecting them into quality products as well as fine-tuning supply responsiveness, Panasonic Electric Works will increase customer satisfaction and further expand business.
