Objectives
To create products that can be comfortably used by more people

Activities
We conduct many types of evaluation on usability of products, such as user questionnaire surveys and physical burden measurement. We also have a UD certification system, whereby products that meet certain in-house standards are designated UD-conscious products, of which industry firsts and/or industry-leading products are selected as certified UD products following review by a Universal Design Certification Committee comprising internal and external UD specialists.
